Re: Happy New Year Swamp....

I'm usually not one to go out for New Year's either, but the girlfriend's friend was also turning 30 at midnight last night, so we went to a small NYE/birthday party at her house, about five minutes from the girlfriend's. I was home and in bed by 1, seeing as how I had agreed to work the morning shi...

Re: Movies

I been rewatching some old favorites of late. A few weeks ago I watched LA Confidential for the first time in what must have been 15 years. Forgot how great a cast it had (completely blanked on Russell Crowe being in it) and just how awesome a film it was from beginning to end. Last weekend I saw De...

I fail to see how throwing a draft party and being optimistic about going in the 1st round is a red flag. Especially when he would not be the first athlete to have his name and likeness used to promote a party he knows nothing about. Not saying he does or doesn't know, just that this has happened b...

i'm thinking matrix sequels right away. The first one was awesome. The wachowski bros should have handed the story telling to someone else for the next two and stuck to directing. especially considering one of them is now a girl. I read somewhere that when they first met with the studio about The M...

This: I could see a girl being self conscious and not wanting a guy seeing her in a state of illness. And this: Also, if it isn't a a completely serious relationship, having a guy nursing you back to health sort of takes it there, and makes you feel indebted to him. If you have the chance to do something you want to do, I say do it. You never know what the situation will be down the road, or what other opportunities may present themselves, so take the ones you have when you have them. Also, the extra time off sounds like it would help you focus more on the book...

I still don't know what I want to be. Last three months I've grown to hate my job. Not sure if that's because of the job in general or this specific job. And I have a great boss, just sick of our company culture. But I get the feeling that most people feel that way. Yup. Exactly. I'm happy with my ...

No, use it to trade up to No. 5 and get Milliner. I'd be happy if the Lions got some picks to trade back to the middle of the first round if they can't get Joeckel or Fisher. My thoughts on the Eagles at No. 4 as well. Hoping someone thinks Detroit or Cleveland wants Millner, or that two of the top...

Coburn just killed Dupuis. Face first into the glass. OT now. I'd like to know how that wasn't a boarding call. Was he too close to the glass or something? Elvis Dumervil signed a new, cap-friendly deal with the Broncos, today. I'm glad, as he was getting cut if they didn't get this done, and proven pass rushers are always in demand. Really like the Conor Barwin signing by the Eagles. Didn't get to see a lot of Texans games, but from what I've read he seems to be an upgrade on what we had (again, it wasn't much).
