Re: Swamp Job Questions
Dave, did they request your passwords or access to your social media sites, or merely just tell you that they were looking at your profile. I have heard of employers making candidates give them access to social media sites, sometimes even passwords. I know there were some court cases, but I don't k...

If a girl is interested, she doesn't care that you didn't wait "an appropriate amount of time" to ask her out. She is waiting for it. If she isn't interested, waiting isn't going to change anything. I was always happier going for it and getting shot down than not going for it and beating ...

I always used to joke that if I had a son, I'd name him "Lou" so that his name would be the same as "Lou Reed" (different spelling though).
Glad I got a chance to see him live...in '88 or so...on the "New York" tour.

I'd like to have better sound then you get out of a flat panel TV, but I don't want to go the whole home theater route.

I just watched the highlights from yesterday, and wow....did ETNZ gack on the second race. They had a clear lead, and tried to do a "leebow" tack, and just got rolled by Oracle. Bad tactical decision, and then the tack was slow, and Oracle just blasted away from them.

I don't know that they did to the boat, but Oracle has tweaked something to get better upwind boat speed. And Spithill is totally in Dean Barker's head now, and is getting great starts.
