Re: Breaking Bad

The "Mama Mama" scene was improvised by the baby.... Did the script really say: "HOLLY: [cries] Mama! Mama!"? Because that baby delivered. Walley-Beckett: We got very, very lucky, didn’t we Rian? We got lucky because that was a shaky moment for the baby. It’s a stressful situati...

Re: The WTF America's Cup Thread

ETNZ might lap Oracle in today's second race. Destroyed on upwind leg (3); cruising to the final mark, 1000 meter lead (>40 seconds). Another beautiful day on the bay. Two more wins for the Kiwis. 6 to negative 1, three more to win. I managed to catch some of the first race today on YouTube. Oracle...

Re: The WTF America's Cup Thread

Big shake up coming for Oracle. Tactician John Kostecki was not on the boat yesterday for practice, and it looks like Ben Ainslie will be replacing him. Kostecki is getting killed for calling for a "foiling tack" in race 5, which killed all of Oracle's boat speed and let ETNZ take the lead...

And some seriously "A-Team" level of marksmanship during the last scene. Two guys, standing with no cover, with a pistol and a shotgun, facing four dudes w/cars for cover and all that iron, yeah. But repeat to myself, 'it's just a show; you should really just relax'. I thought that when I...

I gave up on "Pride and Prejudice". I was slogging through it, and was making no progress. I may return to it at some point. I've been reading a Margaret Atwood Serial on my Kindle, called "Positron". Another of her dystopia type of stories. There are 4 episodes so far, and each ...

ETNZ went bow down going around a mark on Sunday, and lost 2 crew members over the side. They were quickly recovered by the support boats. Usually in yacht racing, the rules are you have to finish with the same people you started with. I guess they've changed those in the Race Instructions. http://i...

Since they have free child care on site, there are tons and tons of hot moms there. The advantages of not working and being able to go to the gym at 930am.
