Re: MLB Offseason Thread

Prince Fielder traded to Texas for Ian Kinsler has gone down. May be other parts involved.

ETA: Apparently "cash to TEX" covers the "other parts". There had originally been a mention of the possibility of another player moving.

And what possesses a player to call a pre-flop jam on the very first hand with K3? I would guess that, with the tournament's pace, there are two parts to the decision. 1.) Playing becomes more tolerable when you have a larger stack early so you can push other players around and keep accumulating ch...

I'm probably going to spend most of next week's Syracuse-Florida State game throwing up.

And Tennessee should probably fire the coaches and players on their kick coverage units. Add a kickoff return TD to a punt return TD (and another long punt return that gave them a short field for a drive).

Down 27-21 and a foot away from the end zone, first down.

Ponder just got injured diving for the pylon (he was holding his left arm while walking off, so my completely amateur opinion/guess is dislocated shoulder from when he landed after the hit on his other shoulder). Called a TD, but replay is probably going to overrule it.

Cassel time.

Michael Carter-Williams, for one night, made it look like the Sixers aren't tanking. 22 points (four threes), 12 assists, nine steals, and seven boards in a win over the Heat. Of course, the Sixers blew a 23-4 start to the game and had to come back for the win.
