That explains the jumper at the ceremony. (A student either slipped or jumped and died at the end of the ceremony). Too soon, yes, but I feel like I need to fill the TT-sized void on inappropriate death jokes.
Also, what percentage of students know that song?

I watched The Contestant on Hulu last night. It's a documentary about a game show contestant in Japan, and it's fucking WILD! In 1998, in what seemed like a live variety show, they had this guy living in a tiny windowless apartment, and he couldn't leave until he won $1 million Yen ($8,000) in sweep...

We don’t eat a lot of mustard. When we do, it’s always Dijon or German. But, my wife was cleaning the fridge and dragged out some old French’s yellow mustard from the back that we bought for a kids’ party years ago. Turns out it expired in 2013. Guess we’ll throw it out. Where’s your sense of adven...

Took the Boy to Admitted Student's Day at Binghamton U last weekend, and they timed a protest for when most people would be in the Spine. A major reason teams are so willing to play rookie QBs these days is to get some average QB play at a rookie contract level. By sitting Penix for several years, they are missing out on that benefit. Yeah, agreed. What bugs me the most about VAR is that when you slow down footage to a frame by frame viewing, EVERYTHING* looks like a serious foul/infraction. I don't mind freeze framing offsides and handballs, but fouls should mostly be viewed in real time mode. Agree with all of this. I was thin...
