Re: The I need to buy a house thread
Anyone recently bought appliances? I need to get some on order for the new house. Anything you love about your fridge/gas range/washer and dryer right now? Anything to stay away from? I've run the gamut on brands in three different houses over the past 10 years. Here is what can tell you: Despite h...

Guess I had the Red Wings in 2008. Other than that I'm in same boat as bengal except swap out the Griz for the Nuggets.

Seems high to me. Recent guys I have hired in Colorado seem to be about $120.Johnny Carwash wrote: ↑Mon Apr 01, 2019 10:31 am So, quick question: Is $200/hr a reasonable rate for an electrician? I don't have that type of work done very often, this place came recommended but the price tag kind of threw me.

I agree with AB. Keep the Jetta since it's still in fine shape and, as you say, fun to drive. Don't give up on something that's working well. I also would not count on the Envoy making 200K. Sell the Envoy on your own if you think you can get more than you could towards a trade. What is it about GM ...

From a service/quality standpoint they are all kind of the same. The only real difference tends to be price. I've found that there is usually one or two that are cheaper than the rest for any given airport. Unfortunately, IMO, Denver is a stupid and expensive place to rent a car because each company...

The feds want their money from taxes. Not sure they care about the parenting aspect except in the sense that it was the impetus of the fraud. I'm sure you're correct. Bottom line is the FBI didn't indict kids involved because they clearly were not the ones responsible even though they are the ones ...

Therefore I would contend that the problem isn't the Olivia Jade's of the world...it's the people that like/follow/watch her. Seems rough to call a bunch of teen and pre-teen girls "the real problem with the world". I don't think they are the "problem with the world." Elite coll...

Re: Movies
Saw Captain Marvel last night. Thought it was somewhere between good and great. From what I saw in the trailers I was worried I would not like Brie Larson as the character but I think she did a great job with it. The story was much better/a little more complex than I expected.

I knew pancreatic cancer is one of the fastest and most lethal, but damn. Stage 4 pancreatic cancer has a 1% survival rate, and the life expectancy is 2-6 months. A couple of friends I used to work with umpire girls softball; both have professional positions working M-F 8-5. They do school and rec games so it's starts in the spring and runs through the fall making anywhere from $50-$100 per game. They can haul in $400-$500 in a weekend doing a tournament plus...
