Re: Swampers on the golf course

I carded my first-ever eagle yesterday. It only took me 20+ years to accomplish this achievement, but it finally happened. I hit a driver and 3-hybrid to get the ball on the green, and then sank a 15-foot putt for eagle. It was a hell of a way to start the round (Hole 1 at Hawk's Nest Golf Club ). ...

Doesn't get much more depressing than this Isaiah Austin story. Seems beyond unfair some kid who overcame what he did would get slammed again. Yeah, it does suck. My first ever issue of Sports Illustrated had a story about Flo Hyman who died during a volleyball game due to this undiagnosed disease....

Bittersweet time at work. I've worked for a small (<50 full-time employees plus a few contractors) software company for the last few years. Reagan is also a flip-flopper who switched parties because as he aged some of his views changed, kind of like those of a normal fucking person. Houston under 7.5 Yeah, that one stood out to me too. If they didn't play in a division with Jacksonville and Tennessee, I'd be all over it, but if they can duct tape a QB situation together, they can win a few low-scoring games this year. If their line plays better than it did last year and Foster...
