Re: Random Politics
My junior year of HS I had the best teacher I've ever had for World Studies. He would make us pull out a blank piece of paper and you had to draw the continent we were focused on at the time. Just an incredible way to learn and remember regions and their borders.

The fad I was really hoping was going to vanish is the whole "pants hanging almost below your ass, with your underwear fully out there" look. Just looking at that makes me... unsettled.

Re: Fontly Speaking
For work and actually anytime I'm wearing long pants, I'm sporting my Mack Weldon socks that come up above my calves. I actually hate the feeling of dress socks spooled down at my ankles, so I'm pretty particular about it. When I'm in shorts, I'm wearing those socks that barely come out of the shoe....

Related, I think: Why is Miles Robinson still in MLS? Choice? Skillset? Sure am glad he is as an FC Cincinnati fan. He's been absolutely excellent as a part of a really good backline. If he balls out at Copa, I doubt he stays much longer. I posted the article above but didn't comment that I'm very ...

Dumb isn't the problem. It's dumb + 'I have a strong opinion regardless'. This. The same people that bitch and moan about immigration at the southern border and have, literally, no idea where the border is... Say nothing of the "why" of the people struggling/dying during the migration. Th...

I think my issue is that I'm a geography person so I have a really difficult time with people that just have no interest in understanding, like... where the fuck they are at any given moment.
Not being able to identify the country you are in is just incredible to me.

I was thinking a little more about the roster and, man, the guy that must really be kicking himself is Zendejas. Flips over to a very crowded midfield pool and despite having a very good FML season... no dice. I don't claim to know the MEX player pool all that well, but I'm pretty sure he'd be in th...

Agree on Weston... Didn't like it when Juve did it, would prefer GGG not do it. Just saying it's an option in a pinch. I'm really curious to see a lineup with Pulisic and Wright bombing the flanks with Gio playing a 10 role. Let Balogun or Sargent post up in the middle. That's a nice little attackin...

Dest acl sucks. Him and a Robinson bring a lot of class and stability getting forward. No choice but to play more defensively at least on one side. Might suit them with the better competition. There are just not that many D3 schools west of the Mississippi. This is a fairly constant point of contention/consternation for these schools when it comes to sports because they have a very tough time scheduling out of conference games. No reason for Tufts to hop on a plane to play Colorado Colleg...

Watched a decent amount of the Fever v. Liberty game today. Caitlin is starting to sort things out... Starting being the operative word. It's not just her, it's the team. They often don't really run a cohesive offense when she's not handling the ball. The other PG seems like she's trying to prove so...

I think I'm a bit of weirdo, because I'll eat the same thing multiple days in a row if I really like it. To that point, I'll have had dinner-lunch-lunch off of a sausage and fennel pasta dish we made on Wednesday.

As a latchkey kid, I grew up eating cold leftovers because I was lazy and hungry.
One weird thing... I don't particularly like fried chicken dark meat, but... I will eat drumsticks cold.
And I'm resigned to the edit.

I've watched enough bodycam videos to know... If you take a cop for an unexpected, out-of-vehicle ride... You're going to jail. There's no gray area and room for "cooler heads." The situation was likely visually confusing, but... A cop stepping to your vehicle saying stop moving is not amb...

I had to dig a bit to get my head straight, because I know the SEC doesn't have lacrosse. They are playing in the American Athletic Conference, joined by Vandy for just Women's Lacrosse. A 16 seed that took out #6 MD.

So, my oldest is done this month as well. He'll have his H.S. diploma and almost enough dual enrollment credits to have an AA.
