Re: NCAA Tournament thread - Play-In games and Round of 64

So what do you fellas make of Gonzaga? Was today just a minor hiccup? Or something to worry about? Today was a hiccup. But that is a tough bracket. Wichita State is excellent, they are certainly no pushover (neither is Creighton, the other Missouri Valley team in the tournament). And if Gonzaga doe...

Montana is down by 40. And counting. I really hope the Berkeley guys were taken out for post-game pizza or something and are NOT seeing what Syracuse is currently up to. Quite a feat, and quite a first, if the smart guys win. They've never won an NCAA game (they also went 66-years without even making the tournament), never won in the NIT, never won in the CIT.

Good recall on the 1987 tournament, Dave. I sure as heck had to look up that reference.

That has to be one of the longest own-goals ever, right? Which game? I've seen a few "full length of the ice" own goals. And I believe every time it was in the final minute, goaltender pulled for an extra skater, down in the offensive zone a pass goes back to the point, missed by the poin...

Oddly, there are four Canadians on the New Mexico State team, including 7'5" Sim Bhullar who is surely the tallest Punjabi in the NCAA as well. Deadspin has collected some ridiculous pictures of Bhullar in action. If he makes it to the NBA, Bhullar would be the league's tallest player by about...

For those of us that do not get TruTV, whatever the h-e-double-hockeystick that is, one live stream source is TSN.CA. And I have no idea if that link will work outside of Canuckia.
