I'm not sure how I missed this one when it first came out, but this SNL skit is awesome.

I'm over the Ben Roethlisberger experience, btw. He looks like late-career Eli Manning, but they'll probably fall for all of these fluff numbers and ride it one more year. People had been saying that he was playing well this year and at no point did I have any idea what they were watching. This WR ...

It's interesting how comparing the two really shows the development of US soccer. When Claudio was 18 he was the #1 high school player in the country (a huge recruit) and then a key piece as a freshman of UVA's national championship team. He went on to be a 1st Team AA and national player of the yea...

I hated that punt decision. I think if the Steelers go and get it (tbf, not a sure thing), I think they probably drive for another TD and the Browns are reeling. I also didn't understand kicking the extra point when they scored to make it a 13-point game. Why not go for 2 there? To be fair, I would ...

Natural playmaker? Holding mid? Maybe they have those. Pulisic doesn't seem either to me. Haven't seen lots of the presumed squad. Adams in particular so not sure if he is either. Assume Reyna but maybe not his dad. I think Reyna is going to be better than his father . He is faster and more of an a...

I disagree that callousness is a necessary component of capitalism. It's just not. It can be, of course, but it's not necessary. That we've equated the two lately in the US doesn't mean they're the same thing.

I just finished Season 2 of After Life. Holy hell what a bleak show. It mixes in just enough comedy to keep you going, but then continually breaks your heart. It's well written and has a lot of great character actors, but man, I wonder what drove Ricky Gervais to make that.
