I also got in the habit of sleeping far enough down the bed that my foot is hanging off the bottom. Not sure how much that helped. I've done this for as long as I can remember so either it doesn't help or its staved off even worse issues? Probably. I think it just helps minimize the stiffness you g...

The stretches for plantar fasciitis work amazingly well. Do it several times a day for a week or two, and it stays gone for months. Last flare up, I'd wake up every morning with pain worse than if I was running on it. Stretches knocked it out. I used to have all sorts of heel inserts, a wedge that ...

I had to skip Thunder Road when it came up on a playlist at work yesterday. I used to sing that to him when he was a baby to try to put him to sleep.

I had to stare out the window for a while after that hit me.

The "Pocahontas" stuff might amuse the racists in his base, but I don't think it moves the needle with anyone else. One thing I think we've all learned by now is that that stuff DOES move the needle. It's easy and visceral, so it becomes part of the daily news story. Did she really claim Native Ame...

Could just be overly optimistic, but I think Warren's gonna win the nomination. But we'll have to be subjected to a lot of "bUt cAn a wOmAn wIn a nAtIoNaL eLeCtIOn!" bullshit for several months afterwards. I took it as criticizing anyone who wants to listen to music at the beach instead of just wanting to go hear nature, especially since he never mentions volume, only the presence of music itself. Does he get mad at families who bring loud children? What if people are having fun and are louder than t...

I don't have a lot of sympathy for those three dudes (particularly the last one), but I have to think for every actual mass shooting, there are 100 or 500 of guys like these who brag about how they're gonna do it but never actually would. It smacks a bit of thoughtcrime.

Pulisic with a nice assist to Giroud. Chelsea up 1-0 v. Liverpool in the UEFA Super Cup.
Very nice indeed. His agressiveness and pace brought four defenders to him, freeing Giroud. And then a perfectly weighted pass through so Giroud could one-time it.
