Re: Electric Vehicles
It's just so jarring and when you look at how cool/clean the lines are on the Rivian you really have to wonder WTF ppl are thinking. I really like the Rivian too. BTW, what the fuck is Elon doing with firing his entire Supercharger team? That's the one clear competitive advantage Tesla still has.

Re: Return of Confessions
My boys are 20 and 23 would get it instantly. And would have for the last 10 years. I did recently ask my younger son if his friends knew Monty Python (which to most kids just means The Holy Grail), and he said that some do and some don't. But it's not universally unknown. (at least not a UNC)

My boys absolutely loved (and love) Monty Python and the Holy Grail. We watched it many, many times together. So, the kids do still like it.

Man, I'm sorry to hear that, man. It's great that his family was around at the end though. I think that's all we can hope for - that our family loves and cares enough to be there.

I almost entirely avoid all of the pre-draft nonsense, so maybe this wasn't surprising to others, but I couldn't believe when I checked and saw that the Steelers got Peyton Wilson with their 4th pick. That dude is a beast! You obviously never know how these things will turn out, but I'd say Pittsbur...

That was ugly. The midfield trio of Enzo, Caicedo, and Gallagher has been soft defensively all year. When you pair them with Badiashile in the back, the sieve becomes a gaping wound. I told my son after the last game he played that he should never don a Chelsea shirt again. But then we started him o...

I just finished Season 2 of The Wire last night. At this point you can put me in Team Wire for that argument between The Sopranos and The Wire. I think it just has a more compelling storyline than Sopranos, which didn't seem to have as much of a constant through line. I'd still rate Breaking Bad and...

When I coached my boys in rec soccer, I mapped out the lineups and sub patterns ahead of time, because it's too hard during the games. I'd have my assistant use the sheet and run a timer. Of course, that was often difficult too, because invariably a kid or two wouldn't show or would show up late. I ...

Sure, I get that. It wasn't hard to decipher. The international angle is an interesting part of it.
