Gotta hand it to them.

Re: More Backroom Deals Than Tammany Hall - A Youth Soccer Tale

When I coached my boys in rec soccer, I mapped out the lineups and sub patterns ahead of time, because it's too hard during the games. I'd have my assistant use the sheet and run a timer. Of course, that was often difficult too, because invariably a kid or two wouldn't show or would show up late. I ...

Sure, I get that. It wasn't hard to decipher. The international angle is an interesting part of it. But what I'm talking about is a room full of highly-paid (maybe?) writers who have a job writing for an extremely popular show. And they have to write shit like that. And while that may have been a dr...

I like the idea, but I hate Virginia being in the Northeast. They have little connection to most of those schools (other than VT, and MD. Maybe WVU).

Several Rivians and a Polestar in our neighborhood. We are going to get an electric SUV this year, but those Rivians are pricey! Looking more likely we get a Hyundai Ionic 5 or a Kia. Nice looking, highly rated, less expensive electrics. I was all set to get either the Ionic or the Kia until I look...

Well, I bought mine used and I try not to think about Elon too much when I drive it. There were lots of lots good engineers who really deserve the credit that everyone loves to give him. And for the most part, he built those things before he took that crazy right-turn a few years ago.

Holy shit, Cole Palmer. Thank you, City! And with his 4th goal, he's now tied with Haaland for first in the PL! Nobody would have guessed that anyone on Chelsea would be challenging for that. He's also one assist shy of tying the league lead there as well. Hell of a season for the Brit-looking lad!

I suspect there’s something potentially disastrously scandalous coming down the pike. A top coach doesn’t just leave UK. If it’s money, I would think Cal has enough cachet to get them to match any offer. Cal does tend to leave one step ahead of the executioner (the NCAA), but in this case, I think ...
