That Ricin is some scary ass shit. Do they run the mail through special lights or something crazy that they can detect such small amounts (and that it didn't kill someone on the way to DC.)

Re: 2013 Boston Marathon

There is a traffic jam on the south side of the Big Dig on 93 at all hours of the day. When I was living in Dorchester I came home once at 4 AM Saturday morning and it took me 35 minutes to get from the tunnel entrance to my exit...two miles away. And a traffic jam at the 93/95 shit show right outsi...

Again I posted my plans, and those are not from my brain but through discussions off board with people , in the thread on the old board. As for "giving blame" I have never done any such thing. I apologized for the shittiness of the upgrade, and had communications with VB about a rollback o...

The thing you keep forgetting is that the databases were backed up. Not by me correct. but still backed up. As I stated before if you had such issues with me doing anything you have a multitude of ways of contacting off board. "Hey Rush, how's the upgrade looking, etc." but nothing from yo...

I consulted everyone along the way. The consensus was to have the company do the upgrade and to the latest release, the tech did backup the databases. I did nothing that no one didn't know about. There is no reason to jump down my throat. I did nothing than suggest that some people feel uncomfortabl...

No one is giving anyone a free pass, and I am not making you the bad guy. Things were typed/sent that shouldn't have been that's what happened. A good friend of mine (and former roommate) lives down the street from the boy that was killed. Evidently the boys house is swarming with media and she had to park 3 blocks away. As she's trying to get home she was approached by a large group of "media" that asked how the blast was associa...

Well without Sanders they'd be just as thin. I think that Sanders probably would have been tendered at a higher level, but the Steelers were looking to save some coin. Pats made an offer to Sanders. Steelers will get a 3rd round pick if they don't match. The Stillers matched. Did they do that out of...

Yeah the massive swings are pretty typical here. I am glad that the 70+ days are on the weekends and the snow/rain/hardcore wind has decided to occupy the first part of the work week. Supposedly, an effect of global warming is more volatile weather, with swings both directions. But also, it's not th...

I feel the same way about Tommy Allen (IIRC) the DT the Pats signed from OAK. If the player is somewhat productive in OAK and signed for low $$ then why not give him a chance? It's gotta suck playing on a team as dysfunctional as the Raidahs.
