Re: 2019 NFL Offseason Thread

I've been to a Pats / Broncos game and had no trouble as an opposing fan. I think as long as you're not belligerent there wouldn't be a problem, and it's not like the Broncos have a long-standing rivalry with this iteration of the Browns. Depending on how the Broncos are doing it may be a more Brown...

You guys are too young! It's not great, it's unrealistic, but it was part of the 90s! I'm in the wheelhouse, but I was much much more of a Seinfeld guy. My wife LOVES Friends and will queue it up once and while. I walk past and chuckle at some joke..and she'll say "See, it's funny!" Well sure, it's...

Colorado is still "the West" to a lot of people not in the Front Range.

IIRC, they tried to impeach a state senator that voted for slightly tighter gun laws a few weeks back.

CU is open, but we have an "increased police presence," though I didn't see any on my way across campus this AM.

We got a Samsung toploader efficiency blah blah. Thing is friggin awesome. Some reviews were about how long the cycles took, but it tells you right on the display how long it'll take, and I've found that with the high spin it actually takes less drying time.

Have to fix the self propel cable. We have just a big enough hill that mowing goes from relaxing to starting heart palpitations from trying to manoeuvre the beast. Would probably be ok if it was one of the cheap models rather than bells and whistles model.

I guess there's an overarching discussion we need to have about the role of review in all sports and the tendency to sometimes make the games unwatchable at times. It's certainly not just basketball. All four major sports have similar issues w/r/t replay and it's definitely causing some fans to tun...

Rogue still does some good stuff. Solid to very good. Their envelope-pushing stuff isn't up to that benchmark. (though as AB attests their reworking of IPAs tend to work out pretty good.)

Dad Breath Dad Breath 5% - Helles Lager. Super drinkable, straight up, no frills German style Helles Lager. Reminds you of what your dad drank when you were a kid. Pairs well with yelling at umpires at little league games. You'll see this beer around now and again, especially during warmer months. ...

Yes. Though the light rail blows. Union Station downtown does have some nice restaurants and a good bar. You can Uber from there to a rental place, there are more than a few relatively close to downtown.
