Re: Godless III - Completing The Trinity
Forgot one point in my rant. Why is there always a "why do you hate G-d?" argument? Why would an atheist hate G-d? It's like hating unicorns. If you believe something doesn't exist, you don't hate it. These people (not most Christians, mind you) can't even contemplate that some people don...

This year's the first time I've gotten a wristband for Musicfest NW, so I'll be hitting a bunch of shows, culminating with Neko Case on Sunday. Last night I saw Deerhunter. I've been reading a bit about the various sects of Islam. All kinds of Salafi, Sufi, Wahhabi, Ba'ath, and that is just within the Sunni side. Disappointment of the day: Ordered pad gai, spicy, on account of being stuffed up from a lingering cold. Get home and open it up to find fried rice instead. WTF? Of all the items to get my order mixed up with, it had to be that. RICE IS NOT A MEAL.

The meat/(bone+messiness) ratio of wings just doesn't do it for me. If they're good, it's only because of the sauce, so why not just prepare a thigh (or any other more substantial part) the same way?
You're just getting sold carcass scraps with dipping sauce.

Re: 2013 MLS Thread
If a team were to bring in a USMNT and not have him a DP, they'd be on the hook for the transfer fee. So essentially, big name players that would have to be DP's under the salary structure would be subsidized by the league, and thus go to where they want or where it best interests the league. And si...

WRT the whole Dempsey thing, I love how MLS will throw it's own allocation rules out the window when it involves a $uperstar in a big market. Any team from here on out that accepts allocation positions in trades are suckers. That said, it's a great pick-up for the league, but not so great for USMNT....
