Re: The Great Goals thread

That's the senior Dortmund team? I had no idea we had another young American playing for them, much less that he is Claudio Reyna's son.

And that was a hell of a goal.

Re: 2020: The Democratic Presidential Nomination Thread

I've never understood how Biden was winning polls for so long. I never come across anyone - in real life or online - who is pulling for Biden. I get that the DNC wants him and the big donors want him, but do any actual voters?

Yeah, I'm not sure we get Fox News without Rush showing the possibility and the size of the market. I think he's definitely the most to blame for turning my parents into assholes. I remember when my dad first started listening to him, probably in the late 80s. My dad drove a LOT for work, so he had ...

It's definitely zero when it hits zero. When it flips to 1, that means there's one second left. A second later it flips to zero. Nothing complicated about it at all. That spinny think that the Chiefs did pre-snap on the first 4th down conversion was really cool. Fucking Friday Night Lights shit. Wh...

It's unfortunate that we have Sanders and Warren essentially splitting the more progressive, more angry-with-the-status-quo vote. I like them both, and I like them a LOT more than either Biden or Mayor Pete, and I think a lot of people feel the same way. I have to think that if they were a single ca...

Zion has always walked a bit funny. He looked a bit slow (for him) and out of shape, but I'm not sure he was limping. I also stopped watching after he subbed out in the 2nd. I bet it will be a while before he hits 4 threes in a game again.

This is The Chicago Tribune's one-star review of Radiohead's The Bends. Think this guy wants this one back?
