Re: The 2013 World Series Thread
I've been enjoying watching the playoffs thus far and rooting against these two teams. I have no idea who I'll root for, I'll just watch and see how it goes.

Re: Terps football is cursed
The team has been a mess in recent years. From ranked to being outscored 97-10 in their last two losses. I'm of the opinion that they shouldn't be ranked, but I'm still unsure how they beat up on WVU. I don't like to be a "Fire him!" guy, but I think it makes sense to start fresh in the Bi...

I have some dust built up inside my computer. Can I just stick a vaccuum hose in there and suck it out or do I need to be concerned about prying something loose? Use compressed air instead. Using a home vacuum can generate too much vacuum and can damage components like capacitors on the logic board...

I'll tell you what..I think most of us thought the ricin was for Lydia and the machine gun for the Nazis. Of course getting the Schwartz's to give Flynn the money was brilliant as well as giving Skyler the coordinates for Hank and Gomez's grave. That scene with him and Skyler was amazing when she l...

I didn't watch a ton of the coverage, but enjoyed what I did see. I thought the commentators did well for folks like me with no sailing experience. I was talking to a co-worker this morning who sails and I hadn't realized that the boats were on one hydrofoil when they were up like that. What I thoug...

Ever the protector, Walt knows the police are on the line. He blames Skyler, rips her, knowing all along that there are others listening in - he's showing the authorities that it's all him (and only him). That didn't cross my mind at all when I watched it. That rant seemed so out of character for h...

That cash sucking sound you heard from Baltimore was me putting having a new water heater installed today. By the way, if you don't have CO monitors, get some. The Tom Morgan story is fantastic. As a mid-level fly fisherman myself, I'd kill to lay my hands on a rod that was so painstakingly built. I don't have the $ for that now but can dream. The views from his house are amazing, makes me wish I was in a spot to move out there.

I enjoyed listening to him, Sonny and the guy from Channel 9 (not the current play by play guy) when I first moved to the area in the early 90s, but in listening the last few years, the retirement is a good thing. The broadcasts were entertaining.

So far so good. The most painful part was the beginning of the surgery when the doc was trying to locate the tubes to be snipped. A little digging around. Local anesthetic and there are two small incisions to pull the tubes out. Snip, cauterize and I'm on my way in 15 or 20 minutes or so I'm told. The instructions also s...

I like the Davos character a lot....which means he's probably doomed. No kidding. The reviewer at AV Club compared him to Ned Stark and we know what happened to him. So with Maryland, Rutgers and Hopkins along with the current lacrosse playing Big 10 schools, that gives them enough for an AQ league? I imagine it'll take some time to unwind current affiliations, but I'm glad they can put it together.
