Re: Nature is Horrifying

How about this adorable photo of a kangaroo cuddling his fallen mate, perhaps so she can see her child one last time? https://regmedia.co.uk/2016/01/15/kangaroo_love.jpg Or is that what's happening? But the Australian Museum quickly weighed in with another interpretation of the image, with principa...

Re: Aussie Aussie Aussie Rules Rules Rules

So on the treadmill this morning watching some Footy on FS2 and the following occurred to me: When did they stop making the players bounce the ball when they ran? I miss the skill of dribbling an oblong ball. When did they change the ref uniforms? I miss the wide brim hats on the guys who tell you i...

Re: More Backroom Deals Than Tammany Hall - A Youth Soccer Tale

One thing I'd say up front... In my experience, a lot of refs let WAY TOO MUCH go when they are officiating girls games. I have talked to a lot of refs about it, especially if I know the other team tends throw a lot of late/off-the-ball stuff. That can really help... "hey, ref, just so you kno...

Bringing in Cetic and Rangers comes up every few years. They basically want to be guaranteed into the Premiership, right? Probably...That would be a tough move as the Prem would stay the same size, the Championship would lose 4 teams. I am guessing to get them in they would either have some one tim...
