Re: College Visits
Son of wlu and Mrs lax6 went to visit my nephew at u of VT and an tie in to check out Middlebury. My wife loved the school. My son thought it was too supportive of the kids. Basically the school does not let the kids struggle through it. Fascinating view from the kid. My nephew is loving VT. He is n...

Double feature on my flight last night. 1.) Mission Impossible (the one with Tom Cruise jumping the bike off the mountain). Good idea but full of big flaws. And I can usually suspend my disbelief. The self-driving car item is the one that got me angry. Nice commercial placement I guess. Also I have ...

Anyways, the weather didn't cooperate, but got to see some amazing goals and some pretty great hits. I don't have some big take away other than: UVA's offense is REALLY difficult to defend. I thought M did a poor job of figuring out the pretty obvious picks and about half a dozen goals game off of ...

UVA just signed the #1 player in the 2025 class, Brendan Millon. His older brother, McCabe Millon was also the #1 player in his class and is now a first-year at UVA. While two brothers each being #1 in the country is amazing enough, I learned that their parents are BOTH in the lacrosse hall of fame...

So with Kuzy in the rehab program and Backstrom on Long Term injury reserve, the Caps' salary cap has gotten flexible. Interesting to see if they are the destination for expiring contracts in deals. Hope they don't get goofy and become a buyer for a playoff run. This is not the year.
