Re: Getting the spins

A song writing clinic in one masterpiece. One of my favorites to play on the Joycemaha because the 12-string guitar gives that rich deep sound and, yeah, that really is my vocal range. Down there. My tones. Lyrics below. Stan Rogers often started concerts with this song; small wonder, it is a real &...

Thanks, Syb. Very much. Tonight's work was mostly on the server side. Rewrote a lot of older PHP code to bring it up to standard. Most of that was in the name of attempting to bring the databases to life. Yes, I have not given up on that yet. Also, there are literally hundreds of settings on the new...

I love me some tea. Not as much as coffee, mind you, but I do enjoy a hot cuppa now and then. While I only like milk or half & half in my coffee, I love my tea light and sweet. I like plain ole' Lipton, which is basically the same as English Breakfast tea, iirc. I believe Lipton (and Red Rose, ...

I just use a metal tea ball I don't even do that. Always felt that the water doesn't filter through the tea enough. I just put loose tea in a Bodum carafe. You mean the two little squares in the upper left-hand corner? The squarish goatse and the conversation balloon? I was thinking of getting rid of it all together. And if someone can come up with a worthy slogan or tag-line to replace Here today, elsewhere tomorrow under The Swamp title masthead (up top), well, that would be peachy.

Not trying to nitpick, but should the minimum characters be "0". In case we want to make a post that is just an image? (Or does minimum characters include the PhpBB code to embed the image?) "1" is the minimum. PhpBB3 won't let the setting go any lower than that. I don't believe...

Funny you should mention that this particular evening. I saw the first eight episodes. Decent enough start, nothing brilliant, but better than the average trash. Now it's just average trash. It went from mildly intriguing to unwatchable bullshit in just under two months. That didn't take long.
