And based on that I'm going to guess something old west frontierish where it would have been less likely to have a bunch of Philadelphia lawyers around. So I'll go with New Mexico.

No idea. But I will guess from the way that question is worded that it was not someone who was ever elected but rather someone who inherited the position as a replacement for a governor that was thrown out or died or abducted by aliens or whatnot.

Love seeing the A's and Dodgers with high o/u's. And the list serves as a reminder that the BlueJays will continue to be a disappointing trainwreck that will leave me and degenerasian bitching relentlessly about their bizarre unwillingness to fire hopeless John fucking Gibbons. Echo on Puig; hopefully his maturity level is higher than zero this season. You could take a chance on Cespedes? Or a gamble on Tanaka.

The last time . . . they were, uh, booked into 10,000 seat arenas and 15,000 seat venues and it seems that now on their current tour they're being booked into 1,200 seat arenas, 1,500 seat arenas, and I was just wondering does this mean . . . the popularity of the group is waning?

I visited the town where Groundhog Day was filmed about, oh, 12 years ago or so. Can't remember the name. It's just outside of Chicagoland. Funny thing is that the town didn't need much set decoration; it looks pretty much just what it looked like in the film. There was at least one shop that sold s...

Just a heads up . . . over the last 24-hours or so at least a foot (maybe two) of snow has fallen here. Very unusual. Very sloppy. It makes for messing driving and walking. Snow rarely stays long in this vicinity but it is something you may wish to keep an eye on (and perhaps consider bringing appro...
