Put me in coach.. wherever you need me. an outside midfielder in my slim youth..can still play it, just don't expect me to come back to defend. an higuita style goalkeeper or hold up striker with a penchant for diving headers. for some reason my o50s teach coach keeps playing me at the left back tho...

Ok, Canadian haze pushed the originally scheduled to be 2 day tournament to 1 all day grind of an event today. She finished 6th (medal, 2:17, not quite a PR) in her group in the 800 and qualified for the MOC (meet of champions/state finals) as an at large based on statewide results. Then 8 or 9 hou...

air quality hit 200 here in central jersey
hazy, hazy, hazy
and stinky
not letting the missus out (due in 8 days)
and the boy is not happy as the Last Chance Meet was cancelled - so no chance to improve on that 1600 time.

So the coaching staff of the oldest’s HS track team fucked up (HC says there was a family emergency over the weekend) and didn’t submit entries and seed times for the first round of the state track postseason. Deadline was midnight Saturday, but registration opened 5/1. Latest we’ve heard is that t...

that sucks Rass, i'm sorry this happened to her and the team. HS coaches have far too much power... school administrators and state officials tend to be pretty nearsighted.

That finish is incredible. How do you sprint like that at the end of such a grueling race. yeah.. that's been his thing since 9th grade -- sometimes he does it as far back as the last 200 -- but he tends to make up places in that last 100 almost every race. no idea where it comes from but its aweso...

Re: Rants 2?
as for NJ license..
lot easier to get a shotgun or rifle than a handgun
need three letters from locals and your PD to sign off on you -- then its 3+ months.
found out from the borough clerk that more than 2/3s of residences in town own firearms (or are licensed)
