Re: Swamp Quarantine Movie Night - Roadhouse (1989), 9 p.m. ET 3/26
But seriously I think Gyllenhall is the right type for this. And the director has made some entertaining films. McGregor seems to be an awful dude but I'd otherwise watch this? Having watched the trailer, I respectfully disagree on Gyllenhaal. Liman has done some very good stuff, but that trailer l...

Re: Swamp Quarantine Movie Night - Roadhouse (1989), 9 p.m. ET 3/26
I hope this attempt at a re-make falls apart like the Ronda Rousey one did about five years ago. Jake Gyllenhall? GTFO. In case you needed another reason not to watch what will likely be a horrible remake, Conor McGregor is involved. This remake sounds bad. And, I have a difficult time seeing Jake ...

I just got an email from the Palm Beach Post that Lee Majors will attend Trump’s super bowl party. They had a picture of him, and holy crap his face looks like it was put together like a ransom note. Airbrushed photography of your plastically altered face can do that to you I guess. With his "...

Just realized LIV scheduled an event in Las Vegas the weekend of the Super Bowl which seems idiotically on-brand for them. ETA: think most ppl know but the Super Bowl is in Vegas this year so hotels etc are at a premium. Until the addition of the 17th regular season NFL game, when the Super Bowl wa...

If KC makes the Super Bowl, the Usher halftime show will be the most-watched show in (whatever time period). The difference between the halftime show and the game's average is usually about three million people.
And she will completely upstage the halftime show, just by her presence.

Re: 2024 (or is it 2023 because that's what most of the season was?) NFL Divisional Round
Detroit is America’s team. Lions/Bucs was the most watched divisional round game since 1994 a week after Lions/Rams was most-watched prime time TV event since last year’s Super Bowl. And then, the game after it averaged ten million more viewers to become the most watched divisional round game ever .

I was, however, wrong about this one. 24 wins (prediction was made one year prior to the 17th game, so predicted win percentage was .328, actual win percentage .358).DSafetyGuy wrote: ↑Mon Mar 16, 2020 7:00 pmThe upcoming season will see the Bears entering a cycle of mediocrity marked with 21 wins over the next four seasons.

Six-year contract for shit like this: “We’re going to kick you in the teeth, all right?” Campbell told reporters. “And when you punch us back, we’re going to smile at you. And when you knock us down, we’re going to get back up and on the way up, we’re going to bite a kneecap off, all right? And the...

Aaron Schatz has James Cook and Stefan Diggs as the worst RB and WR/TE, respectively, by DYAR in the divisional round.

The main bridge from Canada to Buffalo has been closed since last night because of the storm. No word on when they'll reopen. So you're saying some players might not be able to get to the game from the Candian strip clubs? Ballet! Sometimes, you need Mints. But, not Peppermints. NTTAWWT.
