I'm still shaking my head over all of the hand-wringing about the Tigers closer situation. Latest reports are that the Tigers offered Rick Porcello to the Padres for Huston Street, who if the reports are believed turned them down. I'm not sure what's crazier -- the Tigers offering that deal or the P...

Like many of you, I love living in a multi-cultural city. Though it's kind of a secret to tourists (which is the way many of the locals like it), we have a very awesome, active Chinatown in Las Vegas with some incredible restaurants and shops. So I'm checking out the website of one such place I was ...

Yes. It worked as advertised. Same. There are other companies that do the same thing and are cheaper too, so make sure to shop around. I wonder if Shaka Smart is concerned about his style working at the highest levels? It's works well now when he's getting second-tier recruits and coaching them up. They buy in and get good at what they do, so when they play the big boys who aren't used to that pressure, VCU is able to run them rag...

Saw that on the schedule a couple of weeks ago and thought of you actually. Unfortunately, should be a good game. CMU tends to sleepwalk against FCS teams. We play Michigan the week before that one, so I don't know whether that's good or bad.Ryan wrote:September 7th. Good fucking luck.

2013 MAC Football Thread
Now looking like a sure thing Eric Fisher will be the highest drafted MAC player in history. He even had a private workout with the KC Chiefs (first pick overall) in Mount Pleasant yesterday. Would be pretty mind-blowing to have a Chippewa drafted first overall in the NFL Draft.
Re: Deadspin
Picked my best three: I ended up going with the unders on Miami (64.5), CWS (80.5), and NYM (74.5). Also took Pedro Alvarez at 50:1 to lead MLB in homers. Brian, you put any change down on over/unders yet? I did get down on Baltimore under 79.5 at basically even money. Mulling over some other ones....

If a county went for the MAC as a majority, it would have been on the map, no? I was thinking that...probably. We're basically fucked if the USMNT get one point or less out of these two games, right? At this point, I'd probably take a draw at home and loss at Azteca.
