Re: NCAA Basketball 23-24
That's wild. I wonder if that happening on such a big stage led to so many coaches auto-sitting any player with 2 fouls in the first half. Some coaches will let a player get his 3rd, but leaving a star in with 3 fouls in the first half? That's criminal negligence. I remember in the '88 finals, Dann...

I was thinking this morning about the '83 Final Four, when NC State won it...and trying to remember who was in that Final Four. I could remember NC State, Houston, and Georgia, but had to go to Wikipedia to see that the 4th team was Louisville. But in reading that wiki article, I saw this: Houston w...

We had an actual funny aprils fool joke in my neighborhood this morning. A little back story: About 3 years ago, the local grocery store closed, and the space has been vacant ever since. There's been lots of rumors over that time about what would be going in there, with most people hoping for a Trad...

So, we didn’t really discuss Fargo. Absolute classic. As is Lebowski. I remember the reactions to Lebowski being decidedly mixed when it was first released. I remember seeing it in the theater opening weekend, and walking out thinking it was pretty good, but not a classic like Fargo. I think its on...

Gonzaga got about as far as expected. My kid was bummed out, but considering that 6 weeks ago there was serious talk about them not even making the tournament, the Sweet 16 is a good result.
Purdue looks really good, but I still wonder what will happen if they get in a close game down the stretch.
