good point; i just finished book 4 last night. definitely a "transitional" book.

i'm going to hold off a few years i think before i read 5, i'll wait until the series catches up. those books aren't easy to read, too long by 1/3 at least.

without giving anything away, Book 3 was nearly nonstop "holyfuck!" territory. i didn't know this season would only address 1/2 the book, damn. and as for the softporn angle, the books are at times completely overwrought with unnecessary sex so it's just reflecting the original story. not ...
