Re: The 2013 MLB thread - March/April edition

I'm still shaking my head over all of the hand-wringing about the Tigers closer situation. Latest reports are that the Tigers offered Rick Porcello to the Padres for Huston Street, who if the reports are believed turned them down. I'm not sure what's crazier -- the Tigers offering that deal or the P...

Lost In Translation

Like many of you, I love living in a multi-cultural city. Though it's kind of a secret to tourists (which is the way many of the locals like it), we have a very awesome, active Chinatown in Las Vegas with some incredible restaurants and shops. So I'm checking out the website of one such place I was ...

I wonder if Shaka Smart is concerned about his style working at the highest levels? It's works well now when he's getting second-tier recruits and coaching them up. They buy in and get good at what they do, so when they play the big boys who aren't used to that pressure, VCU is able to run them rag...

2013 MAC Football Thread

Now looking like a sure thing Eric Fisher will be the highest drafted MAC player in history. He even had a private workout with the KC Chiefs (first pick overall) in Mount Pleasant yesterday. Would be pretty mind-blowing to have a Chippewa drafted first overall in the NFL Draft.
