Re: Election Day 2020
Ya know, it has always pissed me off that instead of making an odd number of electors the standard we had to draw up a doomsday scenario in the event of a tie. I'm sure there's a reason behind it, but holy shit. It’s ultimately because they amended the Constitution in 1961 to give DC 3 electoral vo...

So Justin Turner is told he is positive for the most contagious deadly virus in a century, is forced to leave a deciding WS game, then willingly goes out and puts his peers and the press in danger and suffers no consequences. If you're the President then fine, but I like to think we hold our ballpl...

Re: Election Day 2020
Why is the calling of the election a media decision? Isn't that bizarre? Who else would “call” an election before votes are certified everywhere, which takes a couple weeks? This is a great analysis of the state of play and the reason no one can call anything yet: https://twitter.com/kentremendous/...

How many ballots are left? I think about 100K in AZ total Actually around 140K, I think. If Trump goes 60-40 on remaining ballots statewide, it’d take 150,000 votes to erase Biden’s lead. If it’s really 173,000, then Trump needs 58.5%. Which is what they were saying a couple days ago he’d need. So ...

Related game: find a county with an FBS-sized university in it that went harder for Trump than Pickens County, SC at 74.5%. So there’s a petition at the Supreme Court to stop counting of ballots arriving after E-Day?
If in fact there’s a pending lawsuit about the validity of those ballots, that’s probably the correct thing to do, isn’t it?

There's no path for Trump in PA. I need Nevada called so there's no chance for a legal bailout in PA. If that one state is the gap, I'll remain concerned that it'll go the way I was always afraid it would go. (If not I'm very happily down $200.) Yeah I think that if shenanigans in PA could overturn...

Today could be one of the most consequential days in American history. Will Trump try to drag the republic down on his head and how will he go about doing it? There's 18,900 votes left to count. Biden going 60-40 will do it. If he continues to go 70-30 or better he'll pull ahead by 4000.
(Of course then you have to worry about provisional ballots and late-arriving military ballots, etc.)
