So the women’s SEC final against South Carolina and LSU got a little chippy, to say the least.

I’d be fine with them winning it. They were the funnest team around when I started following, and seeing The Dream and The Glyde at the Final Four would be boss as hell. Bust out the red and white polka dot towels while they’re at it.

Trump was full racist bigot in the 80s at the latest. I assume lifelong given his father's rental philosophies. There is a lot of reporting on Trump being racist long before he came near politics. Assuming certain high rollers wouldn't want to see black employees at his casinos and having them all ...

This is in no way a defense, but one factor in TFG’s, and for that matter any nepo-baby thinking, is that he literally never had a job he could get fired from until he was president. Imagine all throughout your life that would could literally do anything, and it wouldn’t cost you your livelihood. It...

Four of the depictions and two of the performers in that sketch are now no longer with us. Three of the performers if you want to include Victoria Jackson's mental stability.

I just need to vent. The fact that Biden is 80 years old in a normal election would be a huge worry, and the NYT is doing its due diligence pointing it out, but when the opponent is only 4 years younger, in worse physical health, and dumb as a pile of fucking rocks, in addition to failing in his big...

Then do the same with his anti-Black posts and put them in Black neighborhoods in Charlotte ...

I don’t know how many teams this would make this claim, especially one that’s over 90 years old like the Eagles, but two of their top ten players all time are centers, including arguably its best all time. I just booked a couple nights in downtown Cleveland, about 6 blocks from the waterfront/Rock n Roll HoF, so assuming I can get a sitter for my kittie-cats, I'll be there. The Guardians have a game that night, so I'll be able to check another ballpark off the list.

The Ripken-Young-Trammell troika was the first core of power hitting shortstops, but I think Ernie Banks was probably the first true middle-order power threat. He played the first half of his career at SS, and put up 512 career bombs. Not too shabby.

Taking nothing away from Caitlin Clark, because what she was able to do in her career puts her down as the greatest women's gunner in NCAA history. But man, what Pete Maravich did was nuts. He averaged 43.8, 44.2, and 44.5 PPG in his three seasons at LSU. This is without a shot clock, no three-point...

In my neck of the woods we have an importer called Cento that cans San Marzanos. It’s the only kind I’ll use.
As an aside, my son asked me to teach him how to make homemade pasta, my gravy, and my parents’ pork meatballs this past week, and we’re going to take over the kitchen next time he’s down.

She was in front, and Mary Decker twice hit Budd's legs from behind. Too bad. She got a lot of undeserved shit f...
