Re: Television (no longer temporary)
Finally, all these years later, tried Fargo - TV version. Season 1 was, indeed, pretty damn awesome. On to season 2 now. Season 1 is still my favorite of all of seasons. Billy Bob Thornton is such a great villain and Martin Freeman’s character’s evolution (devolution?) showed some great acting. I’v...

Played two games recently that I genuinely enjoyed --- Doomlings and Century:Golum Edition. Both play cards onto the table style games. Easy to learn, fun as hell to play. Easy recommend to each. https://doomlings.com/?tw_source=google&tw_adid=547588557781&tw_campaign=14737846768&gad_sou...

Dating when older is a lot faster, both parties know what they want Nods. Pretty easy to fast forward some things at this age. I wasn't looking, like I said a few months back when considering dating again, that I was looking to date a ton of people necessarily. So, if you find someone that you clic...

Re: Random Thoughts About Thoughts Random
not sure what other thread to place this (I know we have tossed around misheard lyrics a bunch of places) but have been for some reason wondering about The Cars' Bye Bye Love lyrics and it occurred to me the lyric in the chorus really can't be "it's just a fucking alibi" so I looked it up ...

Not the movie, not the book (though it is one of the King books that kind of cures temporary insomnia), but the affliction. I generally have not had much issues sleeping. Sometimes problems falling asleep but usually once I was out I was good. Anyway, since I got COVID this latest time, I haven't s...

I'm sure there are worse, but the one that stands out was a Phish concert around 1995 or 1996. Went with some college friends, most weren't into Phish but came for the experience. Set 2 was essentially one jam. Started with a song that went into a Tweezer that WOULD.NOT.END. One friend just bitched...

192.6 - so 3.8 pounds since Jan. 8 - so a little over a pound a week on average - makes sense that the slowdown is arriving but steady loss still which is good. Next goal still is to get into the 180s. Hopefully just a few weeks away.
