That hop may be summit. It leaves a funky, garlicky or oniony taste. I don't mind it, but it really bugs some people.

I don't get it because I would be mad that I couldn't have my entire history in there. You do have to kind of draw a line in the sand. I'm absolutely on the Citra bandwagon. Fresh Squeezed is excellent.

Summit is the hop I hear the most issues with. It can leave a garlic/onion taste, if you are sensitive to it.

You can use a French press to infuse beers. Macerated berries, coffee, and vanilla beans are good choices.
