Generally, high alcohol(9+%) and/or bottle conditioned beers age well. Anything hoppy or with volatile adjuncts(coffee or coconut) should be drank fresh. I was just wondering if the "unpasteurized keep refrigerated" part was necessary to follow. I can't keep 2 sixers taking up space in th...

Very excited. I told my Mom to check the beer section when she goes to Wegman's and let me know what Bell's varieties are available. In the past, they have only had Two Hearted, Oberon and Kalamazoo Stout. She just called and told me they now have Expedition (Imperial) Stout, Cream Stout and Third ...

Got one in my fridge waiting for the right mood to strike. Curious to hear what you think. Expect a stout milkshake, it is very thick. I love it, but it isn't an every day beer, or one that you could multiple of in a row. Great dessert beer. Tried the Boulevard Sixth Glass Quad. Really good beer. I...

I don't get it because I would be mad that I couldn't have my entire history in there. You do have to kind of draw a line in the sand. When I first got it I tried to think of all the beers I had previously had, but gave up after logging 20-30 or so of the usual ones. Now it's just for any new beers...

If you didn't know, old DIPAs become barleywines! Actually, never heard this before. Just read into it a bit, and there seems to be a lot of disagreement on that. I could see how a young American style barleywine that requires aging could taste like a DIPA if it is overly hopped. I can see how an a...

I'm absolutely on the Citra bandwagon. Fresh Squeezed is excellent.

Summit is the hop I hear the most issues with. It can leave a garlic/onion taste, if you are sensitive to it.

You can use a French press to infuse beers. Macerated berries, coffee, and vanilla beans are good choices.
