Re: The Weather

While the Sierras are getting several feet of snow, apparently this could be the first year in recorded weather history (since late 1800s) with no measurable snow all year in the Triangle. Not even a trace amount.

Watched killers of the flower moon. I think it fell apart in the last 30 or so. Coincidentally, I watched it yesterday too (on a plane). Pretty depressing story, all in all. I didn't have the same thought about the last 30 minutes, but in hindsight, it does seem like they kind of rushed through the...

One of the stretches he has me do is very similar to that piriformis stretch. For the foam roller, how big in diameter do you use? I have a couple in the house that my son uses, and their actually not really soft (despite the "foam" name) and are fairly wide in diameter. Maybe 6-7 inches?

Watched Miller's Crossing last night. I hadn't remembered how much of a noir film it is. I was expecting more typical modern gangster movie (like Scorsese), but it's more like an old Hollywood gangster movie. They stepped up from Blood Simple with a much more complex movie, but a lot of the same ton...

I think forfeiting a game is too severe. And it would complicate rankings, records, etc. A large fine for the home team ought to do it. Arenas already have a ton of ushers and security. They can use them better and/or hire more to handle the security. Some arenas already handle this properly. I know...

To play devil's advocate here, the study of history, particularly in a high school US History class, by necessity has to skip or elide a lot of events. If I need a longer, more random playlist, I create a radio station based off an artist. I have a few of those set to download on my phone so I always have music if I'm offline.
