How did you happen to know so many answers for #1? I was sure of only Hungary, and had a maybe with Sweden. If #10 was the tie-breaker, then I was doubly lucky. The Eagles drawing less attention than the Falcons was simple chance. No special knowledge required. And #10 was probably the only question...
Re: Movies
One of the few movies that wasn't for kids that I've seen in a theater in, oh, twenty years is Manchester-by-the-Sea. And it was really good. Almost bleak enough for my tastes.

I believe Sybian and I played to a tie, but I'm credited with a win. Was this the scotch I sent, or alphabetical order, or something else?
Powerful game Sybian. I thought I crushed this one. But you were crushing it more right up to the end. Great answers that had me puzzled.

Re: Triggering, safe spaces, political correctness
Don't get me wrong, bars (even if they're not breastaurants) are selling sex. However, there's a line, and that line is harassment. I think "line" is too strong a term for what is a multi-dimensional gray area. Both as to what counts as harassment, which is a cultural as well as legal con...

Re: Triggering, safe spaces, political correctness
Yeah, fuck that bar then. For the record just to flesh out the story, the bar owner was the person who kicked the guy out, banned him from the establishment, and has been in contact with his employer regarding his behavior. Those dudes stick up for their own. I know it's not like that at every bar,...

Re: Triggering, safe spaces, political correctness
Sexuality in the workplace is of course a pretty complex domain. That's certainly true in bars. I worked in a place that had an attractive female bar tender who courted a certain amount of sexual harassment because it generated good tips. Big tippers got to go further than others and got more favora...

I thought everyone knew that Hollywood has a book of SAG members who are identical triplets and quadruplets. Up to that level it's easy to deal with look-alikes. Tell the kids that Coach K is actually a fictitious character who in his TV show lives in another dimension on a parallel planet to earth that does not have all the good things we have. Like Santa and basic rules of justice. For example, in Coach K's world a college student-athlete can flagrantly tr...

We celebrate the hell out of christmas, despite not being christians. We have a live tree -- but it's a 30 year-old hibiscus that stands five feet tall in a large pot. It's wrapped in christmas lights (year-round) that comment ironically on our family name, and a boatload of kid's ornaments. We also...
