Re: Deadspin

Picked my best three: I ended up going with the unders on Miami (64.5), CWS (80.5), and NYM (74.5). Also took Pedro Alvarez at 50:1 to lead MLB in homers. Brian, you put any change down on over/unders yet? I did get down on Baltimore under 79.5 at basically even money. Mulling over some other ones....

Gak. I always thought Buzz was a bit of horse's ass. I had no idea that he was highlighting his own horse's ass. One can't really get away with the shaved chest, that bizarre full body shave, look if one has moobs and that gut. And is in such denied reality terrible shape. Honestly, though. That's ...

Awww...does it get sucky? I hope it doesn't get sucky. Charlie finally died so I was looking forward not having to be annoyed by him every episode. I thought the third season was the worst and seasons four through six were quite good. There are a lot of varying opinions on Lost though so your milea...

Re: Tubby era in Gopherland

That's just dumb. Are there people outside of Minnesota who actually think the Gophers should regularly be better than Tubby got them? I thought he did a pretty damn good job. Not top-tier elite, but still pretty damn good. I'm willing to bet that Minnesota won't be getting any better with the new ...

I know...I'm not sure how I feel about it. Apparently, you can watch them in any order you'd like and people will get completely different stories but they'll all make sense. Of course, that show is funny enough where you can have no idea what's going on and you'd have to be dead to not find it fun...

Arrested Development

I hadn't realized this, but apparently the upcoming Season Four on Netflix is supposed to interactive (well, sorta).

You gotta hand it to Mitchell Hurwitz. That's either going to be genius or....well, at worst it'll probably still be better than 90 percent of the crap on TV.

I just hate Wisconsin so much (yes, more than Duke), so that was really nice to see Henderson get to run his mouth all second half. Now I hope he loses.

Re: NCAA Tournament thread - Play-In games and Round of 64

If a county went for the MAC as a majority, it would have been on the map, no? I was thinking that...probably. The Big Ten looms large in the Midwest, but I would have thought at least a couple of rural counties in Ohio and/or Michigan with MAC schools would have gone for the MAC. Isabella County (...

We're basically fucked if the USMNT get one point or less out of these two games, right? At this point, I'd probably take a draw at home and loss at Azteca. Considering the US has lost 1 home qualifier in the last 32 years (even with some pretty dreadful teams back in the 80s/90s, a loss would be d...
