I guess they didn't learn much from another privately owned dam . Before the flood, speculators had bought the abandoned reservoir, made less than well-engineered repairs to the old dam, raised the lake level, built cottages and a clubhouse, and created the South Fork Fishing and Hunting Club. Membe...

One of my sons teammates was added to the US Youth id2 roster for the spring training squad. For our tiny club this is a pretty big deal. He's a great kid and deserves a shot.

A kitchen island. I spend more waking hours using it than anything else in the house. Ours doesn't have outlets, but we'd love them.
Laundry near the master bedroom.
Basement with extra ceiling height. That way if you do decide to finish the space it feels like a real room.

Did anyone see how much PA Classics would get from the transfer if the fed didn't steal it? They are already taking over much of the youth soccer in the area and could use the big chunks of money for facility upgrades. Found an answer In the Pulisic case this would represent a payment of $730,000 b...

Wife was 125 at 8am this morning in the rain. That is crazy high. I was only 200ish in 2016 at 7pm. No students in our district either.
I ended up giving all my staff an off the books hour to go vote when they see fit.

Toward the end of the practice, Barber said, Lees attacked him, attempting to punch him in the face. While the two teammates were fighting, others intervened, trying to break up the fight and grabbed Barber’s arms behind his back, he said. That allowed Lees to punch Barber repeatedly in the face, l...

Will never understand why anyone thinks James Franklin is a good coach. I'm not sure anyone thinks he's a good X's and O's guy, but he's a lights out recruiter and seems to hire good staff. We used to have a bag vac and switched to a dyson battery powered a year ago. It's awesome. Great sucking and cleans up easily. We found that we use it much more than the old one because it's so easy without any cords and we were able to store it closer to where we spend the most time.

Do they pull the goalie and put a field player back there? Because if not, I find that to be almost as much of a bastardization of the game as PKs. And I'm not kidding. It was a facility rule. So, the bottom line with goal keeping in any sport is that you want to be in a position where you are only as far off your goal line so that you can reasonably expect to cover your near post and far post. It's called cutting down the angle. Think about an arc that starts about a yard outside of eac...
