I finally got around to watching The Wire. One episode to go in S1. It's as good as advertised. I didn't recognize young Wallace as Michael B Jordan until way late in the season. I guess I hadn't thought about how old the show is. (Another thing for the feeling old thread, I suppose)

One of the all-time great characters in college basketball. Hell, in American sports overall. While he didn't always run the most ethical of programs (e.g. Herman Veal and the Bias fallout), he was a very good coach and he brought an excitement and humor that the ACC has lacked since he left.

It just really pisses me off that she would do that. She KNOWS this is the biggest case she'll ever handle in her life and the entire world's media is going to cover it, especially if she fucks up even a little. And despite all of that, she had to appoint her boyfriend. What an idiot.
