That's your word, better. So it doesn't measure better. Neither does ppg, necessarily. Not quite sure what it measures but it does seem to identify value in players that might not be highlighted in traditional stats

Employers do not want to pay employees healthcare any more than they want to match their 401k. Perhaps some tax benefits but no way that offsets the cost of the employee benefit.
