Gonna be 110 today and 114 Wednesday in Vegas. By far the hottest NHL games in league history. Ice surface should hold up fine because they built for it but with full crowds something to watch.

Aside from Brind’Amour and a dumb obsession with the idea of Knoblauch favoring kids over vets, this is where I am. I do like it’s not his first shot so there’s no curve; he’ll either succeed or he’s gone.

Also it’s cute that the Habs think they’re gonna out-physical Vegas though it makes way more sense than trying to out-skate them I guess.

That got an audible "WOW" from me last night watching it live. I know a goal there would've only sent it to OT, but I feel a goal there would've been too much to overcome for the Isles and that Pulock saved the game, if not the series, for them.

If so, nice luxury to have two great goalies. Seems fair to be worried about MAF’s mental state. If VGK win Game 4, wouldn’t be surprised to see DeBoer rotate the two through the rest of series with MAF at home Games 5 and 7

Its really a matter of preference. Lehner is more tough and rugged where MAF is more boy nextdoor.

Who is this Montreal playoffs team? They look nothing like the Montreal team of a couple months ago. They look like a confident team.

This is how playoffs are. You can summon all your strength and play in a disciplined system for a period of 10-20 games. Since Toronto couldn't close them out in Game 5, they've looked great. And there's experience on that team, Price, Weber, Perry, Stall, the kids are learning. During the regular season, teams just go through the motions and skill wins out because obviously, you couldn't play balls-out like this in a 82 game grind.
