No, sadly. I was in a group that city hopped all over the place. I guess if I was suave enough I could have tried here and there, but there was a fairly tight schedule and my hotels weren't exactly in the middle of city centers.

However, I have been making moves elsewhere. I just haven't discussed them at all in the other thread.

I was taking down empty boxes from Mom's Christmas graduation to the basement this past weekend and totally missed a step. My right palm/wrist is completely black and blue, but at least it's not broken. It's not really painful except it hurts like fuck to grip a pen or pencil right now. It's got a nice purple vibe going on still so my job interview tomorrow should be fun explaining that.

We have that as an alternate station available over the air. Last summer when we went without cable, we watched more of that than I'm proud of.

For some reason ME TV no longer comes in on my cable system. Tried an episode of the Beaver, but my son was bored. He did start calling me sir for a week, so that was pretty funny.

December 13th will mark the fifth (?) year of our annual showing of A Christmas Carol, with at least three of the grandkids. That will probably be about the last year of all three, as the oldest is a senior in high school. Due to the fact that his brains have dropped about 2 feet, he might not even make it this year. The fourth grandchild is an 8 year old autistic young man, that has not decided to spend the night; one of these years, maybe.

Enjoy them while you have them.
