Why did I get the car washed a couple of days ago?

I typically have yogurt, granola, and fruit for breakfast. I forgot to add fruit this AM. It sort of sucks without the fruit.

Found out the husband of a girl I grew up with committed suicide this week. They've been together since high school (he was a couple years older than us) and we run into them all the time. I know it's said a lot in these situations because no one ever really knows what demons people are fighting in their heads or what other contributing factors there are, but I'm just in complete shock because he seemed like such a proud husband and father. It's also eerie in the similarities to my brother-in-law last year. Two awesome kids doing great in school, a high school sweetheart, watched a movie with the family the night before, and drove to work the next morning to shoot themselves in their truck. Fuck man, why?

Jesus - the blood rushed to my face and I was writing a sincere comment before I reread what you wrote.

Then I spent 5 minutes trying to top it, but no dice.

What I came to post was a question - why is every woman who appears in pornography called a "porn star?" There are no "porn character actors" or "porn supporting actors."

A guy I work with was on his honeymoon last week...in Hawaii. So yeah, they were sitting having brunch when the missile alert went off.

He said they just said "Well...guess its time for more cocktails" and toasted each other.

Hamilton is coming to Denver this Spring. Wife wants to go, so trying to get tickets for our anniversary. I registered to try to get early access but missed out. Regular tickets are released in about 10 minutes, the venue has emailed me 5 times this morning to remind me they go on sale.

Mayor Goodway's got the women's vote, the ethnic vote and the PETA vote in the bag.

Image

Plus, as seen in the classic episode "Pups Save The Mayors' Race" she can complete a multi-stage race faster than any other Mayor in the area.

(I wrote that episode - the credits on that one and "Pups Save An Outlaw's Loot" were transposed. In case your son was asking...)

We went through the same thing here. Registered for early tix sales, and got completely shut out. Couldn't even log on to the Ticketmaster site.

Remember when you guys had a Harem fantasy draft and someone drafted Helen Mirren in the first round to fill his GILF category and then you guys all blasted him at the time for taking a 65 year old in the first round? I didn't say anything at the time, but that was absolutely the right play. Brilliant, really.

Actually met him in the office last spring. He was in town for the opening of his musical about Imelda Marcos, and somehow got hooked up with someone here at the Institute. We were sitting in a lab, looking at one of our Electron Microscopes, when the Institute Director came walking in, giving him a tour. I thought "Wow...that guy looks really familiar....oh hey, Hi There David Byrne".

The Imelda Marcos album ("Here Lies Love") is really, really good.
