well actually
Mr. Chastain tells men to use shampoo only once a week and to scrub their hair with conditioner on the other days. The conditioner has mild cleansing properties that help remove buildup with minimal damage to hair, he said.

“Guys want touchable hair,” he said. “They don’t want it to look like there’s anything in there.” The shampoo-conditioner regimen he suggests won’t take out the oil, so the hair isn’t puffy and unmanageable. Shampooing without conditioner isn’t ideal, he said, because it leaves the hair “really dry and really big.”
touchable hair y'all

I'd never open up a pea-themed restaurant because peas suck but if I were to open up a pea-themed restaurant, should I name it "May Peas Be With You" or "Give Peas A Chance"?

Depends on its location. It could be called "Peas in The Valley."

I feel like it'd have to be somewhere with a lot of hipsters like Greenwich Village or Austin.

There's a place a few miles from me called "C'est Cheese." Which always makes me wonder the percentage of people who understand that "c'est" is pronounced "say," enabling them to get the joke.

This is the third straight time going to the grocery store that I've worn my CMU hat and the third straight time I've been cornered into a conversation with the guy behind the deli counter about the greatness of Antonio Brown (he's a Steelers fan and we largely agree but I still basically just want my cold cuts sliced and given to me so I can carry on with my day).

Or a Justin Strzelczek jersey and ram your cart into the deli counter as hard as you can upon arrival.

My father would have been 78 today. That is a concept that makes my head spin. He’s been gone for 33 years. Days like this are when that constant dull ache of loss is replaced by that sharp pain that followed right after he died.

So sorry my friend. My dad has been gone 15, hard to think of the joy my kids would have brought to his face. My mom is about to turn 84. Just found out that she needs to have her aorta replaced. Evidently not as difficult a procedure as it once was. But I'm not sure how I'll do without her. Just typing this is making the room a little dusty.

That is rough. My Mom died 14 years ago, too young at 65 just as she had retired and looked forward to years of helping with and loving the grandchildren she had waited for for so long.

And you know, to this day not a single major event happens in my life where I don't instinctively think I should call her and let her know.

While it was only 7 years ago, same thing. 65, collected two social security checks and died of cancer. Thanks, Obama.

And absolutely I still want to tell her when things happen.

Weird set of groupon offers in the daily email today, including these two:
Contours

Vaginal Steaming

Vaginal steaming is helpful towards eliminating menstrual cramps, clearing up infections, draining painful cysts, and enhancing libido
Vita Revive

Colon Hydrotherapy Package

This relaxing package is aimed at detoxing the body; colon hydrotherapy gently removes built-up toxins and waste, and is safe and painless
Setting aside my lack of a vag, even if I were vag possessing, are either of those things the kind of thing that one would use a Groupon for? Maybe not where one would cut corners...
