So true. I bought a kick ass leaf blower last year that gas powered. If I was buying now, I'd go with the Ryobi lithium battery pack. At least I think they have a leaf blower that uses it. The battery can be used for numerous Ryobi tools. Such a great idea.

I actually take credit for Random Thoughts. Someone tried starting a Random Thoughts thread like three times and the initial RT just wasn't interesting enough to get the thread going then I stepped in and boom.

I have a TON of leaves. 3 years ago bought this blower/sucker. Last year bought the attachment so I can straight to the can (instead of the shoulder bag it comes with. Yup it is corded, but I have a long extension cord. Best thing is my 8-year old is tall and strong enough (which is a pretty low bar) to use the tool for a long time without getting tired. The impeller is plastic (some companies make metal), but has held up nicely.

It was something to the effect of how I liked when girls dressed like Rene Russo in Major League with the long skirt, flip flops, t-shirt, and jean jacket. Then Bob said that's basically every girl he's ever dated. Then you guys called us fags and we were off.

Rene Russo in Major League was like 1/4 as attractive as she was 10 years later.

For accuracy, I think we need to go with "popularized."

I'm a half a child of Israel, but I'll do my best. Think of BSF starting Christianity, but not many people knew about it. Then after BSF dies (cause of death: Trent Richardson (sorry BSF)). Jerloma goes out and promotes the hell out of Christianity, helping the great religion spread around the world.

You know how like a few times a year some kid dies of a completely treatable affliction due to medical neglect because the parents belong to some Christian Science church that promotes faith-healing only and then they get like 10 years for manslaughter? Ever wonder why you don't see the pastors of these churches charged? I mean what's the difference between a guy that brainwashes people into letting their children suffer and die and Charles Manson?

You know, I haven't. I'm working under the impression that Chuck never directly committed any crimes though.

Anybody see Hot Tub Time Machine?

I have not but was told my movie premise is similar and that sucks. Is this similar to HTTM?:

I go back in time to like the early 80s or so. I steal rap songs, mostly DMX's and I'm HUGE. Like, Ruff Ryder's Anthem is the top song of 1982 and I'm killing it. However, 15 years later, struggling rapper and petty criminal DMX is fed up with his failures in the rap game and he ends up killing the Canadian Prime Minister, sparking WWIII. My son is eventually drafted into the war effort so I'm conflicted as hell. Yada yada yada.

I also think short films based on how I perceive owning an NFL team to be going by Madden Owner mode would rule. Like in one episode this nerd keeps busting into my office to tell me that potato chips are still priced below league average so I raise them by $10 a bag. Then a guy gets hurt so I fire my poorly rater trainer. Trying to hire another one for $100K is not working so I'm like fine how about a million dollars and he says "ok can't wait to get to work".

I originally used the President of the US but wasn't sure how that would cause WWIII. Maybe it could be the Mexican president.

You could switch musical genres (and leave your comfort zone) to indie rock, and have career petty criminal Alex Kapranos assassinate a European leader, setting off WWIII.
