I never post anything on Twitter so I haven’t had any interactions there but Katie Porter, a fantastic freshman U.S. Representative from California, connected with me on LinkedIn before she got elected. That’s the coolest social media connection I can claim. She got rid of her LinkedIn profile once she got sworn in to Congress, however. Some of Rep. Porter’s best work is in the video below:

I got retweeted by Rick Reilly when I made the comment: "The fact that Rick Reilly and Skip Bayless are employed proves that the unemployment rate isn't high enough."

This was when it was like 9% too. I took some heat for that, but I laughed at them all.

I know I’m a bad person because my own personal unemployment index is based on how good the service is for service positions jobs on the Strip/Downtown Las Vegas. The theory goes that incompetent/idiotic performance means the unemployment rate is good/low because someone this stupid still having a job is proof the economy is spectacular. When the economy is bad, the people in those jobs are efficient and competent. This works best in a city like Las Vegas so predicated on tourism.

The Kent State gun girl says she had her hotel robbed while at Trump's Nazi rally last night. I suspect it's some kind of grift, but nonetheless karma is -- as ever -- a bitch.

Right. I'm just jealous that I'm not morally capable of grifting these idiots myself. I legitimately wish I were.
