US Airways should have an opening on their social media staff. It's a bit NSFW. Summary.. A customer complained about flight delays and US Air replied with a picture of a 777 crash landing into some lady's hoohaa.

Are Twitter links to sites that have paywalls (like newspapers) supposed to always bypass that paywall? If not, is there a way to tweet those links so that they do?

Ari Fleischer, who was the White House Press Secretary during the Sept. 11 attacks, has been tweeting all day about what happened that day. It's pretty interesting stuff. He started tweeting around 8:30 a.m. or so. It's worth viewing his timeline.

This could just be me because I'm a huge fan of his, but John Dingell's tweets are usually pretty hysterical considering they're coming from a 87-year-old Congressman (he's been accused of having staffers do them, but that's apparently been debunked.

https://twitter.com/john_dingell" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

ETA: Should be noted he Tweets about sports a lot which is appropriate since this is a sports forum. Also, for those of you who don't know Dingell is retiring in January as the longest serving Congressman in American history. Proud to have lived in his district for a decade or so in the 2000s.

I don't think history will look kindly on John Dingell's central role in the tragedies of federal policy regarding climate change and the destruction of the American auto industry. He was always about the short game of protecting the status quo. But it was the long game that mattered.

I gotta say @FauxPelini is one of my favorite Twitter accounts. It is consistently hilarious.

Model Chrissy Teigan said this in response to the shooting in Canada:

"Active shooting in Canada, or as we call it in America, Wednesday."

She took so much shit for it including death threats that she quit Twitter. That's pretty fucking absurd. I'd make the same comment.

Curt Schilling posted a gross picture of his ankle taken (supposedly?!?)before the bloody sock game. called Mr. D and others a ketchup dink, and then blew up twitter with a ridiculous debate about evolution. Guess the leave-the-guy-alone-he-has-cancer-grace-time has expired.

Also, PFTCommenter gets involved too with people responding not realizing it's a parody account.

Agreed. And to make matters worse, Schilling is still allowed to spout off his political opinions on Twitter. Not going to link to him, but now he's decided his opinion on the Michael Brown grand jury is worth sharing.
