I have been bingeing in Stevie Wonder for the last few days.

Here is perhaps the greatest moment in the history of children's television - Stevie playing an intense version of "Superstition" to an audience of 7 year olds.

Is the "wash your face and hands" line inferring that there's something superstitious about germ theory?

So this particular video I found years and years back and forwarded to my buddy and sometime Swamper Ryan (Ryan's Smashing Life) he posted it to YouTube. It started generating buzz and CTW contacted him to take it down. He donates whatever revenue it gets to the Children's Television Workshop...and I wish I could remember where I originally found this video.

I loved the Clash back in the day. Saw them at Red Rocks in 1980. Never knew there were so many people with mohawks in the state of Colorado. I assume every single one of them was at that show.

One of the great accomplishments of my life was seeing the Clash all 3 times they played Toronto.

Listening to some old Humble Pie, getting adrenalized to go out. Steve Marriott on vocals and guitar, Peter Frampton on second guitar.

Steve Marriott could sing anything. Soul. Blues. Rock. Didn’t matter. Frampton rails about that point, and mentions it was Marriott that introduced him to American R&B...(not that Frampton’s known for that)..

Still blows my mind that arguably the most 70s of songs was recorded at SUNY Plattsburgh (and in a place that's smaller than a lot of HS gyms, holds 1000 people for basketball)

I saw Talking Heads in that gym a couple of weeks after seeing them play for 12,000 in Toronto. Odd atmosphere.

This was a show on that tour.

Less than 2 hours from Montreal so we drove down for the show.I do remember asking people after the show where we should go to party and they basically said "Back to Montreal."
