This does not end the discussion/argument. But it is enough to call off the lynching. Barely.

Good God! I thought that was a great bit of photoshopping. Just when you thought that maybe, maybe things may get less insane.

It's actually kind of impressive that they got these hats made on such short notice.

Embroidery doesn't take that long. I had hats like this done up for my sister's wedding (Make Angelica Great Again) and it took more time waiting for other orders to be processed before mine than it did for them to get my hats finished.

Beck versus Hannity could only be more fun if it took place in the octagon.

So as we head into the weekend, which candidate's foundation do you guys think will get more discussion in the media?

The Clinton Foundation? Or the one that made an illegal payment to a public official in exchange for that official stopping a criminal investigation?
And his one problem is he didn’t go to Russia that night because he had extracurricular activities, and they froze to death.

Luckily for me, there is already a taco cart on the corner near my office. I'll have to make a point of heading over there today.

Quick question, who used more cell phones, Hillary in four years as secstate, or Walter White in five seasons of Breaking Bad?

If Hillary doesn't make it a point to eat at taco trucks everywhere she goes, she's doing it wrong.

It's kinda hard for the Clinton camp to go hard after the Trump U. stuff when Bill Clinton was paid $18,000,000 to serve as the "honorary chancellor" of another for-profit college. But I'm sure that college was completely above board, and the $18M was for all the work Chancellor Clinton did, and not just a payment for access to global power brokers.

A couple weeks ago 538 had Trump with a 10% chance of winning with Clinton winning by like 8% of the popular vote.

Now he's crept up to just over 30% and Arizona, Georgia, and Iowa are no longer blue. And her lead is under 4%.

Maybe after the debates we'll see.

A couple of weeks ago were an EXTREMELY bad time for Trump and his campaign. Coming out of a historically bad convention and then he had a couple more weeks of stepping on his dick.

So it's not surprising he's bumping back up a little. Especially with the way the race is being covered with false equivalences making it look like both candidates are on the same level in terms of "scandals" and shit like that. Trump goes out and straight up lies about a face to face meeting with the president of Mexico and doubles down on his racist immigration stance later that day. That's a one day story. No one is talking about it anymore.

Also, the media is always going to push the "horse race" narrative. They have a vested interest in making sure it's not a blowout. Even if it's tied in the polls heading into election day, the trump card (literally no pun intended) is that the GOP has no ground game and no data strategy for identifying voters, or least if they do it's about 2 percent of what the Democrats have. Also, Trump's best polling demographic are historically famous for not showing up on election day (uneducated white men). There's a correlation between intelligence/education and likelihood of voting.

This would be refreshing, if not exhibiting a complete lack of understanding a major policy issue:

At least he has the honesty to admit his ignorance, and not try to spin it. Pretty surprising that he admits his gaff is a big deal.

Being refreshing and honesty are two traits that disqualify him from being president.

In all seriousness, I'd love for a candidate for any political race to just say they don't know the answer to something instead of spewing nonsense for two minutes. Or, when asked some leading question by an interviewer to just offer a yes or no answer. Sometimes, that's the only answer needed.

I wouldn't have known what Allepo was until I saw the video.

I suppose that comes from being:

A) a bit poor on my middle eastern geography
B) someone who refuses to believe that ISIS is coming for America so we all better watch out

ISIS scares me less that those jackwagons that hijacked the nature center a while back. Do regular, normal people actually buy into this shit? That a small group of extremists halfway across the world with no navy, no air force, and some pickup trucks they bought off Amazon are really going to come hurt us? Goddamn. Think of all the lives and stress we could save if we took 50% of the money and energy we put into protecting oil interests back into renewable energy in this country. But we can do that, because those people are brown and talk funny and that scares me.

Also, so does not knowing what and where Aleppo is. But I agree with your main point.

Its funny to contrast how a fringe candidate's ignorance about Aleppo is treated as a massive deal versus how Trump would get balloons and streamers if he indicated even the slightest familiarity with the term.

Is it plenty of people or is it plenty of middle aged and beyond white guys in flyover america who watch cable news networks?

I would say 1 in 20 people that I actually know and interact with would give a second thought about ISIS. I'm genuinely curious because I'm exposed to a much younger demo than most of the Swamp.
