So the pitch clocks are kind of bizarre. Are they doing this at the major league parks too?

I'm glad to see that Stubby Clapp is still hanging around.
And his one problem is he didn’t go to Russia that night because he had extracurricular activities, and they froze to death.

Attended a game Wednesday evening in Wilkes-Barre/Scranton (against Syracuse). Very attractive ballpark. You could certainly tell that things are different in the minors than in the majors when SWB starter Michael King was pulled after six innings, despite having a perfect game going and a low pitch count.

Gary Sanchez is there on a rehab assignment. 0-4 with a GIDP. But, he hustled down the line!

ETA: Gotta love cool promotions in minor league baseball. Coming up in SWB! The Office night at the ballpark! Free Dundies bobbleheads, and featured guest will be the actor who played Bob Vance of Vance Refrigeration!

Game 2 of Sally League Championship tonight. Sad to say this is my first game of the year, and it's the last game at home this season.

Las Vegas becomes Triple A affiliate of...Oakland.

Rated at least mildly amusing given the relationship between the two cities where it relates to the Raiders though of course that has 0 to do with MLB or the As.

Isn't Vegas one of those fucked up hitters parks where you can't judge hitters/pitchers beyond how they look?

New stadium opening in April, so hard to tell. Though worth noting that the new park is about 800 feet higher in elevation than the old one. (about 2800 feet vs. 2000 feet).

You'd think Oakland (and San Diego) would be extra sensitive about this sort of thing.

Didn't Sacramento used to be the Oakland affiliate? I guess that was just too logical?

More about the fact that it was probably about 80 dofferentnplyers that made up the team and most of them probably went to a new assignment immediately. But a banner will be hanged!

Think the train logo would be a lot more badass if they weren't trying to make an "E". Just kind of looks like it's melting.

Who would of thought that graphic design work for minor league baseball teams would have been a solid career choice? With all the special uni's, name changes, etc. it has to keep a fair amount of people employed.
