Nah, just kidding. Don't know if this is the best thread, but this is just a kinda fascinating interview with a troll who has been trolling the Uni Watch website for several year.

Nike is in a 6-month exclusive negotiation period with Nike for uniforms but the rumor is Warrior (Lacrosse company then Hockey company then Liverpool shirt sponsor--and a few other teams) is on the hunt. Warrior was bought by New Balance a few years back.

Warrior was founded in 1992 when Princeton lacrosse player graduated and started making titanium lacrosse shafts (his dad made a bunch for the Princeton team while he was in school there).

Well looks like the bar has been set for Nike, Warrior, Umbro and others going to the Man U kit deal. According to the reliable paper, Daily Mirror, Arsenal have agreed the biggest kit deal in English football with Puma, said to be worth £170m over five seasons.

Eh, some of them are pretty cool. He should have stuck to about 10 or 12 if you ask me. The Detroit one is just the city flag on a shield and the Las Vegas one for some reason has a saguaro cactus, which don't exist in Nevada.

So the Dallas Mavericks are crowd sourcing their new uniforms. Of course Mavs own the design as soon as it is posted on the site...which protects them from the challenge the Ravens had.

wlu_lax6, do you collect lacrosse jerseys? (Does anyone on here?) Just curious. Reason I ask is because I occasionally treasure hunt in the local thrift stores and there is always a number of lax jerseys. Coquitlam Adanacs, New Westminster Salmonbellies, Victoria Shamrocks, and lesser leagues. Stuff like that. You've crossed my mind more than a few times while rifling through the racks and I've been meaning to ask . . . when I come across such gear, want me to ping you a pic or something to see if you're interested in it? I ask not knowing if you'd even want anything from out here.

I saw a sweet Coquitlam Adanacs jersey last fall at a SVDP thrift store up in Duncan, BC, and idiotically didn't get it. Still kicking myself. I'm sure I spent the seven bucks they were asking on something brilliant like a sandwich. Forest gold, #959004 if you speak Hex, purple trim, crimson Maple Leaf logo. Yeah, I didn't buy it. Stupid, right?

Long story short, want me to keep an eye for those kits? (That goes for all of the Swamp, of course)

Scottie, thanks for the offer. If you see something cheap, let me know (i.e. less than the cost to mail it). I keep an eye out for Salmonbellies and Shamrocks gear. I have had some friends/teammates play for them and the Adancs.

Sure, thing. That's an excellent gauge, mate. For all of us, really. I wouldn't touch anything that cost more than $5 to $10 in a store and I'm assuming the mail costs about $10 to $15 (at the most). So if any of us are unearthing nifty finds for the lads we should keep it at around a less-than-twenty-bucks range. And that's why I also suggested pinging over a cell-phone photo. So if someone comes across Maple Ridge Burrards or Edmonton Trappers or Minneapolis Millers or Baltimore Skipjacks or Cincinnati Stingers or you can see where I'm going here sort of stuff, we can consult each other first. Eh, just a thought.

I forget who else collects jerseys. That thread is lost in one of the quicksand Swamps. Maybe we should resurrect it?

I'm a sucker for just about anything. If it's even reasonably authentic, I'll buy it, major or minor league, active or defunct.
