Jets fans in the office (I'll remind you we're in the same town as Jets HQ) missed the old shade of green so much that they are taking this as no less than a lateral move. The BFBS one is awful (that's from me).

When can we finally be done with the "stripes that don't actually go all the way to the edge of the jersey/pants" thing?

“Jet Edge” is the foundational design feature on all three uniforms, inspired by relentless speed and the Jets taking flight

Jb Smoove? Ditto old jerseys. Actually had a bit of fear to them. This not so much. I do recall lots of laughter at the pats flying Elvis at first and now I almost never a complaint. Guess they'll morph a bit more though.

The Jets showed my wife the new logo and uniform a couple months ago, and she didn't think this leak was real, as the colors are off, and not what she remembered them looking like. Turns out the leak is real, but the colors are a bit off in the picture. She went to the release party last night and brought home bags of merchandise and I think it looks horrible. I hate the font, my son described it best, saying it looks like a little kid designed it. There is definitely a childlike feel to it. My daughter thinks they are Eagles colors, and I don't disagree. There were replica helmets, and they are super shiny and metallic green. Too dark, too shiny, too metallic. And the logo is shit. I tend to hate most new logos and uniforms, then get used to it, but this is plain shit. The best comment I read was that it looks like a Div III college uniform.

For those who didn't have little kids 10 years ago, Teacher Suzy was a character in Sid the Science Kid

Image

I think we had a discussion about Suzy being hot about 10 years ago. Funny that the website I got the picture from was a blog by a woman who was confused about why her husband had a crush on Teacher Suzy. Umm, because she was sexy AF, and sang and danced! And she taught science!

I like the uniforms Vanderbilt is wearing today in the CWS, but A) they must be hotter than hell on a sunny, humid afternoon, and B) they look a bit like prison uniforms.
