Remember when Trump got into it with the Pope? I got hit with this wave of cognitive dissonance because even though I know he's an awful human being, the fact that he didn't pay any deference to the Pope made me like him a little more. I have the same exact experience watching Cersei go to war with those religious whack jobs.

I think Jerloma was a little too ready for it last week.

And I'd start a new one for S6 spoilers.

After all these years, I finally decided to start watching Game of Thrones. Rented season one from the library and in the last 24 hours, I've watched the first five episodes. Wow!

I've told multiple people that if you can watch the end of episode 1 and not want to immediately watch episode 2, then quit right there because the show isn't for you.

Good advice for Breaking Bad also.

Not bad for a teaser trailer. Assume we'll get a real trailer maybe in May. Looks like it's setting up the new conflicts amongst the 3 newest royals in Westeros and then the big conflict with the white walkers. Even though this season is only going to be 7 episodes I like that it's finally moving to the endgame.

In fairness to Cersei, Margaery had it coming. You can't keep marrying kings without making some enemies.

If that means what they seem to be suggesting it means (which means it may not mean that all because why make it so obvious, though there were hints of it by the end of last season in some of LF's conversations with her) Sansa may regain her mantle of the fucking worst.

I am hoping it means she realizes she can't be the lone wolf. I mean, really. Stop killing Jon, GoT.

Wait. If Jon is a targaryean, then a song of fire and ice marriage precludes him and dany which would be fire and fire. But not him and Sansa, right?

CAn Jon control dragons?

Pissed I can't fine where I called it previously (not that it's a particularly insightful thought) but The Wall is coming down. Just not sure if this season or next. Horn.

Euron will bring back the other horn, I'm thinking.

Nice to have this back.

Arya is such a bad ass.

And that empty chamber pot, serve food, pour water, react horribly montage was Requiem for a Dream-esque. I liked it.

I'm assuming so. Though I can't remember if they've mentioned that horn on the show yet. They have mentioned the one that can bring down The Wall.

Respectfully disagree. As far as GOT, that was one of the better season openers. They are always going to be a lot of set-up, but this one started pointing towards pretty cool shit and did so with nice pacing. Some of the season openers have been really plodding affairs.

I do think the horn mentioned above is what Euron is talking about. There has to be some kind of leveler for the dragons.

And do we really have to deal with spoilers in here? I mean, I'd just assume you come in here when you're caught up...
